repository utilization of the concentrating factory of the Tyrnyauz tungsten-molybdenum mining
complex – one of the necessary messure for decision of ecological problems at the prielbrusje
(Kabardino-Balkar republic).
The repositories of the industrial waste of the concentrating factories of the Tyrnyauz (W, Mo, Sb, Bi), the Sadon (Pb, Zn, Cd, Ag), the Fiagdon (Pb, Zn, Cd), the Urup (Cu, As, Pb, Zn) and the Lermontov (U, B) mining and processing plants are located in the North-Caucasian Federal District.
The repositories may become a real threat to the ecology of their adjacent areas because of the increased amounts of the number of toxic elements. In addition, the repositories of the first three processing plants are located in the mud torrent and earthquake-prone areas and in case of
occurrence of large mud flows or earthquakes the protective dams of industrial waste repositories may be destroyed and the devastating technogenic mud will flow down to the valleys of the Baksan, Ardon and Fiagdon rivers.

The leading role of endogenous processes is grounded in formation of blowhole space of carbonate collectors.

Lihenoindikatsii method studied the ecological state of air pool 10 of areas of territory NP «Alania» Valley Urukh: the tract «Kamarti» camp «Digory,» mountaineering base «Dzinaga» around Fasnalskoy SHP tract «Ahsiag» Fasnal villages and Kamata. The study showed stressed condition of lichen plant communities. At 42% above mentioned areas as air basin's regulatory requirements and represents a clear pollution protected and adjacent areas.
